M.I.T.
Founded in 1861, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) is conveniently situated along the Charles River in Cambridge. M.I.T. boasts of 76 Nobel Laureates and alumni such as Buzz Aldrin, Kofi Annan and Ben Bernake. M.I.T's programs are heavily focused in scientific and technological education and research.
The M.I.T. Engineers compete in NCAA Division 3 sports, and the Division 1 for rowing.
